Jacob Clark

I'm a Computer Scientist with a particular interest in Software Engineering, Computation, Statistical Information and Data.

I'm currently studying a BSc in Computer Science and I'm employed by CSL Sofas as an Application Support Engineer (Mobile & Web). Prior to studying my BSc I obtained both a National Diploma and Higher National Diploma in Computing & Information Systems at Wigan & Leigh College.

I'm a member of several professional bodies including the British Computer Society, of which I sit on the committee for the Manchester Branch, and also the IEEE Computer Society.

I'm a supporter of the Computing at School initiative and a STEMNet (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Network) Ambassador with the Museum of Science and Industry Manchester. I help bring Computer Science events to young people aged 11-16 around the country, engaging them further into the world of Information Technology and Computing.
